Frogg Corpse is an author, actor, vocalist, photographer, and poet from Louisville, Kentucky who has been writing since 1998. In 2019 Frogg published a guest blog for 48 Hour Books on the importance of documenting dreams to improve your writing. In 1999, Frogg Corpse was one of the youngest poets in the International Society of Poets writing two lost poems with Pulitzer prize poet W.D. Snodgrass. In 2011 Frogg Corpse wrote a memoir titled “The Mourning Hour” which in 2012 was showcased at the London Book Fair and re-released by Cajun Mutt Press in October 2022. A copy of The Mourning Hour is owned by MTV Jackass star “Steve-O”. In 2012, Frogg Corpse worked as a haunt actor for Waverly Hills Sanatorium in their haunted house where Frogg scared Louisville native actress Jennifer Carpenter (Showtime’s Dexter) while performing his seasonal role. Frogg also auditioned for season 12 of American Idol in Chicago. In 2013 Frogg Corpse was cast in a supporting role for the film Las Vegas Story featuring actor Eric Roberts. Frogg also provided a background role in The Hangover III. In 2013 Frogg Corpse Auditioned for NBC’s The Voice in Las Vegas (twice), and in Los Angeles that same year. In 2017, Frogg Corpse was offered a role in Rob Zombie’s The Great American Nightmare Haunted Attraction. Frogg has a poetry book “Poetry to Die By” with dark artwork by Russian artist Vitaly Ilyn released in October 2023. In 2022, Frogg debuted as the corpse of Richard Warwick in Agatha Christie’s The Unexpected Guest (Company OutCast) and has also stage-managed for Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest (The Chamber Theatre). Frogg’s friend National Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate Ron Whitehead who has produced works of Allen Ginsberg, William S Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti, invited Frogg Corpse to perform in Louisville for Gonzofest 2014-2016 & 2023. Gonzofest is a festival that honors Whitehead’s late friend and author Hunter S. Thompson. Frogg Corpse is now on the production team and taking Gonzofest to New Orleans in Spring 2025. In 2024, Frogg performed in a 57 hour nonstop poetry and music Insomniacathon event. Frogg ran a light board for a live art installation and has been reading poetry deep within the caves across the state of Indiana as well as various events across Indiana and Kentucky and has taken on four ensemble roles in the Fall production of William Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus (Company Outcast).
